The Tangerine tree was originally native to China, but is now grown predominantly in the United States and Sicily. The tree is also very similar to the Mandarin. Tangerine Essential Oil, like most of the citrus family, can be depended upon for its refreshing and rejuvenating characteristics. Users may see Tangerine Essential Oil used in perfumes, some toiletries and soaps.
Product Uses:
Because of its appealing aroma, Tangerine Oil uses include a wealth of topical and aromatic applications. It creates an invigorating and uplifting sense of stimulation. It is used as a cleanser and deodorizer in many household product with its sweet and delightful fragrance.
Product Directions:
Aromatic Diffusion: Add two to four drops to your favorite diffuser.
Topical Application: Dilute one drop to four drops of Olive oil and apply to desired area and gently massage in.
Precautions:
This oil has phototoxic properties and exposure to the sun must be avoided after application to the skin. Due to their presence, please consult a physician prior to using this oil. Dilute well before use; May cause skin irritation in some individuals; a skin test is recommended prior to use. Contact with eyes should be avoided.
