Basil has been a herb valued as an ingredient in Ayurvedic medicine for millennia. It has a fresh and herbaceous aroma with warm spicy undertones. It’s refreshing aroma is thought to be energizing. It is more commonly used in aromatherapy. Use of Basil essential oil is said to bring about clarity of the mind.
Its properties can be used in massage oils, memory enhancing products, creams, lotions, skin care cosmetics, stress and pain relievers.
Diffuse and breathe to promote mental focus.
Combine with Geranium and Wild Orange for an uplifting massage.
Add as a flavoring to your favorite dishes
Directions For Use:
Aromatic Diffusion: Use three to four drops in your diffuser.
Internal use: Dilute one drop to four fluid oz. of liquids.
Topical Application: Dilute one to two drops with Pranna Coconut Carrier Oil, and gently massage into desired area.
Can be caustic with possible skin irritation if used undiluted, and skin test is recommended. Must be diluted before applied to skin. Avoid contact with eyes and delicate mucous membranes. Consult with your health care practitioner prior use if you are pregnant or nursing; have a medical condition or are taking medication; on the elderly, or on babies. Do not use if you are epileptic. Keep out of reach of children.
