There are thirty species of sandalwood throughout Asia, Australia and the Pacific region, six of which are native to Australia. This species is presently harvested in the Goldfields region of Western Australia, under strict controls.

Sandalwood Essential Oil Uses:

Recognized as one of the most highly prized essential oils in the world, Sandalwood Essential Oil is known for its divine fragrance. Indian Sandalwood is traditionally the most widely used variety, but an alternative is the Australian Sandalwood, which has a milder fragrance. However, both essential oils are highly valued in aromatherapy applications.

Sandalwood Essential Oil Directions:

Aromatic Diffusion: Add two to four drops to your favorite diffuser.
Topical Application: Dilute two drops to four drops vegetable base Carrier Oil and apply to desired area and gently massage in. Add several drops to your hot bath for a relaxing and calming experience.

Precautions:
Dilute before use; for external use only. May cause skin irritation in some individuals; a skin test is recommended prior to use. Contact with eyes should be avoided. Consult with your healthcare provider if you are pregnant or nursing, if you have a medical condition or are taking medication. Keep out of reach of children.
