Geranium Essential Oil Description:

Geranium is a hairy perennial shrub, often used in hedgerows, and will stand up to about one meter high (3 feet) with pointed leaves, serrated at the edges and with flowers that range from red to a pinkish white. Geranium plants originated in South Africa, Madagascar, Egypt and Morocco and were introduced to European countries in the 17th century. There are over 200 species of geranium, of which some are scented and some not. The petals are used in gourmet jellies and confections, and the Geranium Essential Oil is widely used in scented topical applications.

Geranium Essential Oil Uses:

Used extensively in the perfume industry; a long lasting scent with a sweet rosy top note. It adds a sweet floral scent to your skin moisturizer and gives the appearance of healthier glowing skin. Excellent in aromatherapy as a soothing gentle mood lifter.
Add with Lavender and Ylang Ylang to your hot bath for a luxurious relaxing get away.

Geranium Essential Oil Directions:

Aromatic Diffusion: Add two to four drops to your favorite diffuser.
Topical Application: Does not require dilution. Apply two to four drops directly to desired area and gently massage in.

Precautions:
Dilute before use if you have sensitive skin; for external use only. May cause skin irritation in some individuals; a skin test is recommended prior to use. Contact with eyes should be avoided. Consult your health practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant or nursing; have a medical condition, or are taking medications. Keep out of reach of children.
